It’s difficult to summarize Vanessa’s introduction in just a few lines, the driving force behind Local Guides Tour. Vanessa is the person who brought this project to life thanks to her passion for sharing beauty. With each line, a new word is discovered to describe her: passion for art, history, culture, and traditions. In short, Vanessa represents the soul of this adventure, without her spirit, organization, and precision, everything would be impossible. She graduated in Foreign Languages and Literature from the University of Pisa, worked at the Forte dei Marmi Tourist Office before moving to Florence and starting her career as a Local Guide, first as a tour companion and then as a certified tourist guide. She was persuaded to launch this new project, and here she is now. A tour with Vanessa is the best tour you can experience.

Enrico is the one with the ideas, even the most impossible and improbable ones. He’s everyone’s nightmare! You know the phrase, “But what if we tried to do even…”. That’s him, and he won’t give up until he succeeds. His career is very diverse, starting out as a sales agent and private party entertainer. Over the years, he specializes in creating high-quality private events.

In 2015, he enters the world of tourism and combines his passion for quality events and his personnel management skills to create high-quality tours. In 2019, he acquires shares in a tour operator. In 2020, Covid doesn’t stop his ideas, and that’s where the dream of Local Guides Tour takes shape in his head. During the lockdown, he contacts guides all over Italy and creates free online guided tours, a program on his Facebook channel called “The Guide Live”.

People from all over Italy became passionate about it. When the lockdown ended, it was time to roll up his sleeves, but the idea was still waiting for the right moment. And so, once Vanessa was convinced, it was Ferruccio’s turn to find someone who could make the idea presentable. After many discussions, even Ferruccio was convinced, and the adventure began in 2023.

Mr. Robot

IT Manager

An artist’s soul in the body of a programmer. He gives tangible representation to the ideas of his team. After studying classics, he continued his studies in the computer science department at the mathematics university of Palermo.

He moved to Florence in 2008 where he began his climb to success. As a manager at a well-known communication agency, he oversees many activities related to tourism and his super project related to the world of darts (one of the most comprehensive dart websites in Italy). He has an attentive eye for every detail, carefully tending to even the smallest of details. To secure his services, you must either wait on a long waiting list or convince him through lengthy conversations.
